Required width = layout span + both reserved margins. Negative clearance means a boundary is crossed. This is a width check, not a stand or mounting check.
The default 0.5 cm border is an estimate on every edge. Check the model’s actual dimensions. Desk depth, stands, arm reach/load, curved screens and inward angles are not modeled. Stacked screens need a suitable mount.

A diagonal is not the width. For a flat screen with ratio a:b, visible width = diagonal × a / √(a² + b²). Convert inches to centimeters with × 2.54, then add the border on both edges. Portrait mode swaps the width and height. All screens use the same drawing scale.
What to verify on the actual desk
This front view estimates horizontal space. It does not measure the footprint of a stand, desk depth, arm clearance or load capacity. Check the manufacturer’s exterior dimensions and mounting instructions before buying. Curvature and inward angles need separate measurements; overlapping rectangles do not represent a valid angled setup.

Does a 140 cm desk fit two 27-inch monitors?
In the default flat, straight-row model: yes. Two 27-inch 16:9 screens, 0.5 cm borders per edge, a 2 cm gap and 5 cm reserved on each side require about 133.5 cm. This does not confirm stand fit or desk depth.
