Restricted desk spaces

Monitor space fit: width and height checker

Check one to four monitors between side walls or below a shelf. Include screen size, borders, actual enclosure dimensions and lift above the desktop.

Try a restricted space

Examples use a 5 mm border on every edge. Margins and lift are editable assumptions, not installation recommendations.

Available opening

Measure from the desktop to the bottom of the lowest monitor body, not to the panel or its center. For stacked monitors, enter the lift only once.

Front view · flat screens

Layout exceeds the checked space

Includes estimated borders

Front view · flat screens12

Scaled front view, not physical 1:1. Panels are centered schematically inside enclosures; real bezels can be asymmetric.

Screen 1
Use actual enclosure dimensions

Enter both enclosure dimensions without the stand. They replace the border estimate; portrait mode rotates them. Clear both to use the estimate again.

Screen 2
Use actual enclosure dimensions

Enter both enclosure dimensions without the stand. They replace the border estimate; portrait mode rotates them. Clear both to use the estimate again.

Measure the opening and the monitor body

Measure the clear horizontal opening and the height from the desktop to the underside of the shelf. Select the limits that exist. Enter your own reserved space: there is no universal safe clearance. The screen diagonal describes the visible panel, not the enclosure. A uniform border is an estimate; enter the actual enclosure width and height without the stand when available.

Required width = enclosure span + left and right reserves. Required height = enclosure span in height + the lift of the lowest enclosure above the desktop + top reserve. In a row, widths add and the tallest screen sets the height. In a stack, heights add and the widest screen sets the width. Gaps are added between enclosures; rotating a screen swaps both its panel and enclosure dimensions.

FAQ

Does screen size include the bezel?

Measure the clear horizontal opening and the height from the desktop to the underside of the shelf. Select the limits that exist. Enter your own reserved space: there is no universal safe clearance. The screen diagonal describes the visible panel, not the enclosure. A uniform border is an estimate; enter the actual enclosure width and height without the stand when available.

How do I include a stand or a stacked mount?

Measure from the desktop to the bottom of the lowest monitor body, not to the panel or its center. For stacked monitors, enter the lift only once. This checks only the front-view width and height. Verify stand footprint, desk depth, mounting load, cables and ventilation separately. Curved or angled setups need actual measurements. Stacking requires a suitable mount.

Does a fit result confirm installation is safe?

This checks only the front-view width and height. Verify stand footprint, desk depth, mounting load, cables and ventilation separately. Curved or angled setups need actual measurements. Stacking requires a suitable mount.
